My name is Amy Cosma and I have been a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for four years and a registered nurse since 2007 and in the medical field since 1997.  I have worked in various fields. Through personal experience I have discovered how challenging and difficult it has been to find clinicians who understand the daily struggle of mental illness.  I specialize in treating Autism and ADHD.  However, I am also experienced in treating depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and PTSD.  

I received my Associates Degree at Aultman College of Nursing and Health Sciences in 2007.  My Bachelor Degree of Nursing and Health Sciences was obtained from Walsh College in 2009 and my Graduate Degree in Nursing at Walden in 2020.  

I always try to think about how your body and mind affect each other.  I strive to put you on the least amount of medication possible.  I want you to love your life.  I also feel that exercise, mindfulness, life changes and therapy are all instrumental in maintaining high quality mental health.  Also, you know your body and I value your input.    At the end of the day we are a team and I look forward to working together with you!  

I am a wife and mother.  I really enjoy traveling with my family, encouraging my children, coaching the youth cheer team, volunteering, and decorating.
