Dr. Amanda Rhodes is a Board Certified Psychiatrist specializing in the treatment of adults. She completed her training at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. She went on to complete her psychiatry residency training at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Rhodes served three years Active Duty Naval Service at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth as an attending Psychiatrist and Director of the ECT Treatment Progam. She has practiced in the community as a Private Practitioner for the past nine years. Her special interests include the treatment of women (pregnancy through menopause), depression, anxiety, bipolar and adult ADHD.
