Dr. Susan George is a compassionate and experienced licensed clinical psychologist dedicated to providing comprehensive psychological care for children, adolescents, and adults. With dual training as a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) and a Master of Social Work (MSW), Dr. George brings a unique blend of clinical depth, diagnostic precision, and trauma-informed care to her practice.
Dr. George specializes in psychological evaluations for both children and adults. She conducts thorough assessments for ADHD, learning disorders, and complex diagnostic questions. For children, her evaluations help clarify attention, academic, and emotional challenges to support effective intervention planning. For adults, she provides in-depth assessments for ADHD, learning disabilities, adult autism, and other diagnostic concerns, including for individuals navigating late diagnoses or seeking accommodations.
In therapy, Dr. George is deeply committed to helping clients build resilience and reclaim a sense of well-being. She offers evidence-based trauma treatment, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) for children and Written Exposure Therapy for adults. Additionally, she incorporates DBT-informed therapy and skills training to support emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance.
